My main issues are the fact that the power grid cannot support everyone getting EVs currently (and no one wants to bother with nuclear), how replacing the battery costs just as much as a cheaper car, the issues with mining lithium and how unstable the lithium ion can be causing fires (remember those Samsung Note 7 battery issues?), how ugly most of these cars are, and upon watching this, the whole issue with wind and drag. The price just doesn't seem worth it at the moment.
