  34. Gracie Carlaw The fire bans in Alberta were lifted a while ago. It’s been raining non stop there for the past month. The wildfires were taken care of already. If you watch an earlier video from when the fire bans were in effect you would see that he doesn’t have an open fire as he usually does.

  36.  @mmtmkris  except pretty sure he’s in northern Alberta. Where I also live and I can tell you it definitely did get down to -30°C before Christmas. The temp differences between northern and southern Alberta can be very drastically different. But ok. Believe what you like. Some people are just born skeptics and love to take others down. But I’m just some random person so what do I know?

  37.  @mmtmkris  ok but he obviously wasn’t filming this video the day it was posted. So the temperature on the 21st doesn’t matter. He would’ve gone out a few days before in order to have time to spend the night and then also put the video together (editing takes time I would assume) so try looking up the temps on like the 17-19. Even in Edmonton the night temp got down to -27 on the 17 Grande prairie night temps got down to -36 on the 18 So I’m thinking he would’ve been somewhere between these places. Which means he very well could have been out on one of those nights. I’m not sure where abouts you are from but the temperature in Alberta can fluctuate quite drastically from one day to the next. Just saying. So maybe it wasn’t exactly -30 but -27 is pretty freaking close if he was even just around the Edmonton area. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m no expert though. I just live here.

  38. I’m sure animals are more stealthy when they are hunting. But they probably don’t need to be quiet when traveling. It would take them forever to move around if they were always trying to sneak through the crunchy snow, no?

  48. I’ve been stuck in the ditch in the winter and I can tell you I would much rather be sitting next to a find instead of in my car that won’t start. Gets way too cold.

  49. In negative temperatures, you could freeze in a vehicle that isn’t running. If you are able to start a fire a keep warm to get you through the night, I don’t see how that is bad advice. Keep a kit in your vehicle if something like this happens.

  50. I’m pretty sure you can google the temperature in Alberta at the time this video was made and you can see that it was during that week that was one of the coldest places in the world. 🤷🏽‍♀️
