  4. As someone from a country with strict gun laws I'm conflicted. Because on one hand, the amount of gun violence in the US is insane and needs to be brought down. On the other hand, the US appears to be backsliding into outright fascism before our very eyes, and people in targeted groups need to be able to protect themselves.

In 1970 the median house price was around $23,000. Today it's over $400,000. What we have here is something that people need being used by wealthy people to make themselves wealthier, while ordinary people can't afford to buy a home and are forced to be taken advantage of by a landlord. It doesn't actually need to be this way.
