Fuck off, bootlicker.

Your ignorance is not only unjustifiable, it's also dangerous. Look outside of your bubble.

You're at the dinner table with your parents. Your father serves a nice helping of food to himself, and to your mother. But none to you. You say to him "Hey, I should get some food!" And your father says "No, we all deserve some food." See how yelling "ALL LIVES MATTER" isn't very helpful?

Because the funds that currently go to a police force that responds to everything with violence can go to things that actually prevent crime.

@sillybearss That surplus certainly seems to exist, given that every little town with a BLM protest has had their force show up in riot gear. And a decline in quality? What, because today's cops are so good at de-escalation?
1
It does when these incidents keep happening and the police force keeps protecting the perpetrators and preventing meaningful change.

It's only that if you remove all context from it.

They sure reliably killed that UPS driver and other innocent bystander recently.

"Hey, do you think starving children should have food on their plate?" "No i THINK EvEryONe shouLD HAve fOod On tHeiR PlATe"

And? Do you have to be a hero for the police to not murder you?

I want people, no matter who they are or what they did, to be tried in court for crimes they commit, not executed in the street by violent cops.

That phrase literally exists to take away from Black Lives Matter.
1
Who the fuck says it doesn't?
1
Just don't be a UPS driver in a hostage situation I guess.

The thing is, Black Lives Matter is trying to shed light on a systemic issue and responding with a truism like All Lives Matter is ignoring said issue.

@kingroar7437 I called someone else a bootlicker, but if you think you are one then sure. Your bubble is only showing you unrest and looting, and not the systemic problems of racism and police brutality that led to this situation. Breonna Taylor's murderers still haven't been charged. Peaceful protesters and journalists these past weeks have been tear gassed and shot with rubber bullets. Black men are being lynched and hanged from trees and the police is just writing it off as "suicide". The current police as an institution does not exist to serve and protect the public, despite (or perhaps partly due to) being given a gargantuan amount of resources. They need to be replaced with something better.
