  5. I don't believe this "conservatives get censored" thing, especially not now. Not when people are overtly using genocidal language about trans people and nothing is done about it. There are so many absolutely disgusting things said about LGBTQ+ people by conservatives that are apparently deemed completely acceptable. And they want to say they're censored? They have no idea how much lenience they're getting.

Leftism is generally defined by egalitarianism, which tends to manifest contemporarily as opposition to capitalism. And a giant provately owned corporation by definition can't be against capitalism, it's paradoxical.

Why do you think they adopt a rainbow logo for a month and then do literally nothing else beyond some LGBTQ+ representation in an ad here and there? And hell, that "backlash" tends to mean they're talked about a huge amount for weeks to come, if anything it's a boatload of free publicity if you've pissed off the reactionaries.

  36.  @Povertycab  Sure, because of US spending decades propagandizing to their people to support policies that go against their own interests. It hasn't been that long since the Cold War, where people were literally ratted out to the feds by their neighbors if they had communist or socialist leanings, and capitalism and piety where put forth as these important American ideals. But there's no inherent reason why a working class person would lean conservative. If anything, a working class person who has their own interests at heart would be a leftist.
