  6. Pronouns are used in conversation, you're just not gonna be using someone's pronouns to them directly in most situations. But there's definitely situations where they can come up. Think about conversations with more than two people for example. "Hey, have you met my friend Jay here? He's an artist."

  21. @John Stevens Okay, now do advanced biology and you'll find out that there's intersex people who don't quite fit in the "biological male" or "biological female" box. Then realize that scientists now overwhelmingly agree that gender identity exists separately from sex. Now realize that gender dysphoria exists and overwhelmingly the most effective treatment for it is transitioning, whereas saying "just be grateful for your body" does nothing to alleviate it whatsoever.
