  1. we're in Canada. In our city's parks there are homeless encampments all over. And in winter it snows here,....i'm not sure what those ppl are going to do. I was lucky.......i was renevicted after 25 yrs in a rent control apt. (the landlords have many loopholes to evict rent controlled tenants.) I'm lucky to actually find another apt. ....everywhere in most provinces the rents are astornomical, and there are 20 ppl applying for every apt. (we're close to Toronto, but smaller towns far from us are the same) We;re having an enormous housing crisis because the Liberals have let in a half million immigrants a year for the past 2o years, but housing was not built for anyone. (we went from 30 million ppl in 1997 to 40 million this past June.) Everyone in the bottom half of the population is suffering, and we have a green PM who has put enormous taxes on gasoline....but there's little public transit for anyone outside Toronto. It seems to be bad all over the West. Oh, and inflation? Workers from many unions are on strike for higher wages...in the 70's that was the number one cause of rising inflation, and interest rates were over 20% (not a typo) cheers anyways!

  2. ILL EE-US....not EYE lee us. It's spelled Ileus and means that the digestive system stops cold....in some ppl it stops moving altogether. The poor woman who died...with the brown stuff running out of her mouth....had digestive material (digested food) running out of her mouth....it gets sucked into the lungs and the person suffocates. In the USA they're having a great deal of trouble with Ozempic.... it's actually medication for diabetics that keeps them from having to take insulin.....it's safer than going into a hypoglycaemic coma. In the US patients who actually NEED Ozempic are having trouble getting it because of all the Hollywood celebs and rich ppl using it to lose weight.
