my mom was O Neg..we lived in a small town, but it had the area major hospital, so they were always phoning her to come and give blood (O Neg is the universal donor and can give to anyone) When she turned 64, they made her sign a form that said "if this kills you, it's not our fault". I put my foot down..that was the end of her blood donations!!
