my best friend from High School died during covid....she'd just been diagnosed with colon cancer near the end of 2019, (stage one, treatable...YAY!) but then covid hit and everything but covid treatments were cancelled. Her chemo was suspended for months. By the time they started again, the cancer was in her liver and around her abdomen. She died after 2 yrs of horrendous suffering. Chances of contracting covid and dying in hospital at the height of the epidemic....20% Chances of dying of untreated malignant cancer....100% Fluffing medical idio...umm ...experts.

@StonedMeadowOfDoom i was bumping it way up because she had cancer, she was getting chemo which is hard on your immune system, and she was over 70. The death rate really is MUCH lower. In the States, they listed anyone who died with covid as a covid death.....even if the positive person had few signs, was young, and was squashed like a bug on the highway in a car crash....
