  1. while the main cause may be the war in the Ukraine, it really doesn't help that we put corn in our car gas tanks to reduce emissions (that's what ethanol is) In spite of the fact that scientists have known for years that growing the corn, transporting it, and processing it CAUSES MANY more emissions than putting ethanol in gasoline saves.... We're still putting ethanol in gas though....it makes the govt look good (we're in N America)

  3. WOWSA! a bushel is not very big.....even the $674 a bushel seems like a huge amount of money! $1,200+ is just crazy!!
