  2. we had a kind of Earl problem....our mama Siamese (only one litter) had 8 kittens to feed....we tried to get them onto wet kitten food, mixed with KMR...without KMR....KMR in a dish...you name it! Nobody would eat anything...they just nursed mama! At 5 wks i was panicking...i was sure mama was going to dry up and the kittens would starve! Needless to say they didn't....by 6 wks everyone was happily eating kitten gushy food. Whew!

  5. i have a wobbly cat (as they're called) an Oreo coloured one. She is the most determined little person on Planet Earth!! She's better off than Butters.....she can walk at a stagger...but when she runs, her hind legs frequently pass her front ones, and over she goes!! She often crashes into corners and walls etc when running, so they're padded, and there are pillows around her chair, because, with the loss of balance, these cats CANNOT land on their feet. She regularily beats up her brother by adoption....he's more than twice her size! and she cannot jump up onto anything....she just hooks her claws into the furniture and climbs. (Oh well). She was 11 MONTHS old before she learned how to go UP steps without falling, and 12 mos old before she learned to go down steps.....i find that amazing. I would have given up LONG before!!   7. we have a wobbly kit (very poor balance for life)....now a wobbly cat. I FINALLY understand why mom's with tiny children never have time to read....

  8. this is why i can never go to the pound to volunteer.....there are alll these old gentleman cats like this guy, who will never get adopted. They get their 3 days and then are put down....they're never offered for adoption. Many are SO friendly...they've either been the neighbourhood cat and someone doesn't like them, or someone's pet that's been abandoned. Breaks my heart.

  14. sometimes when they're yelling that much it means they're going deaf. ps i stil befieve that it's 7 cat yrs for every human year. That would make her just over 160. I think scientists are just jealous that cats live much longer than they do.... All the best to you, Queen Lily!

  15. my girl cat is a wobbly kit.....she's the most determined little person i've ever met. She learned to walk upstairs at 11 mos of age, and downstairs at 12 mos of age. How can i give up on anything now when Ushi never does?? ps she's 2 yrs old now.....she's finally learned to jump up 2 feet onto things. (OK, sometimes she needs a helping hand....but not always) Good luck to ALL CH kittens and cats!!

  17. cats NEVER think they've been bad...everything they've done is correct to a cat. Hoomins just start screaming because they've stripped a few gears...they're a sandwich short of a picnic, etc.

  18. Archie is sweet and they mean well, but sucking his arm is NOT good....it can cause digestive upsets (he gets air into his system) and can make a MASSIVE sore on his arm...

  21. well done!! He'd be more difficult....with a housecat ti takes them about 4 days to figure out the layout of their house. You just can't move the furniture.. Good luck, Blind guy!! (and your servants)
