  13. the first person diagnosed was Hope Hicks, a dedicated masker....to the point where she was teased about it. Masks don't work well, unless they are N 95's. It was the first expt we did in Bacteriology in Vet college....masks last about 20 mins against bact. Viruses are much smaller, so the time is MUCH shorter. The tests today show masks "work" because the person tested is given a new mask and tested right away. They don't wait even 5 mins, never mind 20 mins.
