@sagarchari1 so sorry, the answer is going to be long. When i started college, one of the first experiments we did in Bacteriology was testing how long masks worked.....against bacteria (easier to culture, easier to see, hundreds of times larger than covid.) As soon as the masks became moist from ppl's breath, they were useless......and the longest anyone's mask lasted was 20 mins. Viruses, being MUCH smaller, would penetrate in a MUCH shorter period of time. The tests that are done today show that masks work because the person tested is given a new, fresh mask and tested IMMEDIATELY....no five min wait, never mind 20 mins. So they look as if they work well. THey don't.....i can't get through a grocery store run in 20 mins, (checkup lines) never mind 5 mins. BUT the remind ppl to social distance ...if you're lucky. So from THA point of view...they kind of work.... All the Best to you!
