a teacher with whom i was friends was rather clumsy. One day she explained it was because when she was 5 yrs old, she spent most of the year in a bunker in Hungary....german /Russian bombs in WW2. And children develop many of their motor skills at that age. It will be interesting (in a horrible way) to see what happens to 2020's 5 yr olds. I always wondered what happened to the poor kids whose main...and sometimes only....meal was their school lunch/ breakfast.

Biden had just gotten out of the shower and was yanking on the dog's tail when he fell. How to make enemies (me)...yanking on a pet's tail is EXTREMELY painful for the pet. If he does that to his new cat, he can rupture the nerves at the end of the spine, paralyzing the tail, the anus, and the urinary sphincter. The cat usually has to be put down.

ps the New York teachers had several demands...some were to do with covid, but 2 were NOT. Can't remember the other one, but one was "defunding the police" or they wouldn't go back to work.
