  2. the Brits were smarter....2 British men were also named in the Steele dossier. They promptly hauled Steele into UK court, and sued him for libel. Since the judge had no dog in the fight, he just went by the facts....and the 2 men won. Steele now owes them 10's of 1,000's of pounds....each.
