  1. in Canada, we lost our honours/ advanced classes at public schools MANY years ago. It turned out that many of the teachers weren't smart enough to deal with them. How is the USA going to produce acience geniuses if they're busy making all the classes equal? All the new good stuff will have to come from Europe or Asia. Mentally and emotionally challenged children are put into "normal" classes so they can "fit in" We;ve ended up with the teachers spending almost all their time trying to help or control the challenged children, and the teachers pay no attention to normal kids.
