  2. apparently there's a disease that sandflies pass to the dogs, and they were hoping the Beagles would get it. I don't know why they didn't just get a sick dog, collect the parasite from its blood, and inject the Beagles, if they thought they really had to do it...not let the faces be eaten off the pups. Crazy!!
