the gun didn't misfire....he pointed it at the cameraman and pulled the trigger. Most 5 yr olds know not to do that. It's not as if they were filming....there are pix of Alec immediately afterwards, and he was wearing a black T shirt and shorts. There had been 3 "misfires" on the set already, and 6 union guys had walked off the set because it was so unsafe. The armourer was a non union woman, and she was nervous about how little she knew about guns. Baldwin was just fooling around. ps some of the guys on the set had been using the prop guns with real bullets in target practice.
