well, there's no point in arresting ppl in Chicago. The Criminals are back on the street before the paperwork is done by the officer. The DA;s don't prosecute many criminals anyways.

@SeattleKoreaLife no kidding! In Toronto, Canada, yrs ago i was visiting a friend and remarked on how YOUNG all their police officers seemed to be. "oh yes" he said "they graduate Police Academy, go to Toronto for a few yrs experience, then apply to surrounding towns and smaller cities. The places are glad to have experienced officers and the officers are happy to work in a mostly crime free area where ppl LIKE the police. The salary is lower, but the MUCH lower cost of living makes those great places. And you can drive into Toronto for a baseball game or the theater" And this was in relatively quiet Canada! I can't imagine WHY anyone would apply for a job as a police officer these days!! All the best to you!
