  1. in N Y we heard that it was because ppl were speeding, due to lack of traffic. I suspect that Tucker's theory is better.

  2. i remember back in the end of the 80's and the 90's when the left was raving about all the criminals being locked up and crime was at an all time low. I could NEVER understand why they didn't manage to figure out that the reason crine WAS low was because the criminals were locked up in prison.
