  1. nah, a LOT of homeless ppl can't afford the rent. They're not mentally ill...they're just really poor.

  2. we did that in Canada as well....all mentally ill ppl were tossed out of psych hospitals and the hospitals were closed. NOTHING was put in their place....our mentally ill are the family's responsibility now. A FEW end up in a hospital, but if they attack a nurse, they're out of the hospital....no supervision, no meds etc.
