  1. the COAL generators didn't freeze...the oil ones did. and the wind and solar were totalled. If you'd had ALL wind and solar electricity, you would have had a TOTAL loss of power for DAYS, because so far NO ONE has managed to invent anything (likely batteries) that allows the storage of wind and solar electricity.   2. same thing's happening in Germany, the world capital of green energy. Their solar panels are all covered in snow and don't work
