@odinata they buy lrsses on large tracts of land. Most of it is barren. They can't test the area until they have the lease. They lease areas that look like other areas where there actually has been oil (you can always google what kind of rock, sand etc. is under the forest)

@odinata takes months to test the site, find oil, set up the rigs and drill for oil. they were tossed off already proven land. THAT's the hold up. (they may even have had rigs already set up when forced to leave) You just cannot believe everything Psaki announces, because there's often a trick in the message somewhere. Like more leases than Trump what's the problem? You might not want to be like those Tik Tok teens that believe Russia is the cause of inflation when even a basic economics course would point out that it's the USA printing all the extra money for multibillion programs, and that inflation started LONG before Putin invaded the Ukraine. @TheMageesa once they get the batteries or whatever invented that can store energy from wind and solar. God Willing they won't be massively toxic and hard on the environment like lithium batteries.

@edemontfort9482 ppl keep pointing out that there are 9,000 leases. Under Trump there were 60,000 leases and many of the 9,000 don't have roads to them, or water at the place. All the best to you!

@SkyDarmos some scientists are saying that the larger green plants have more sugar in them, and less nutrients, like Vitamins and minerals that we need. I have NO idea whether that's true, or whether they're just following the green line of "carbon is bad" Just saying.... All the best to you!!
