the FBI had told Flynn that if he didn't plead guilty, they would put his son in prison. Flynn fell on his sword. Obama had quite the grudge against Flynn after Bin Ladin was killed, because Obama said that Al Qaeda was done, and Flynn who was working for him at the time, said no, they were stronger than ever. Flynn was proven right, and Obama fired him shortly thereafter.

Sullivan would NEVER have let Flynn off...not in a hundred yrs. Trump was smart to pardon him....he knows how Dem judges work!

@DeadlyDanDaMan this was at the time Bin Laden was killed,(i said that above) which was in 2011. Things change. Al Qaeda was still quite powerful then, but when ISIS really started to get going, most Al Qaeda members joined ISIS(mainly because a lot of their leaders had been killed) and caused a great deal of havoc in Northern Iraq and Syria. In fact they took over most of the Northern part of those countries by '15 and '16. That's what Flynn was referring to, and he was right.....and Obama was terribly wrong. Trump knocked out a great deal of ISIS, but they're starting back up in Africa (they just beheaded 50 ppl in Mozambique several wks ago. ) Now we'll see how Biden does with them....ps ppl who insult others are pretty much ALWAYS wrong...

@Yves_Ka Flynn was being investigated by the FBI at the time....the press had a field day about Russian moles in the White house as it was. If Trump had KEPT Flynn, the press would have gone berserk....proof positive!! etc.
