it wasn't dementia....i think it was severe bipolar. She shaved her head because she was also heavily into cocaine which makes bipolar worse.....she was supposed to have her hair tested for cocaine residue. (you can tell how much coke was taken when, by hair samples.) She was spending a fortune, and losing all her money ......lithium is the treatment for bipolar disease. Her dad was elected conservator by the judge. If she's allowed out of her conservatorship, she can never work again, spend all her money on as much coke as she likes, stop the lithium and go back to being severely bipolar....manic, crazy episodes, interspersed with severe and often suicidal depression.
