@dennislawrence8501 the parents had no idea what was being taught...that's why the explosion has come now. Parents finally saw what the teachers were telling their kids on the zoom calls and remote learning, and they were appalled. All brainwashing, no STEM. That's why the upset has come now. @alison5009 not surprising. Most universities and colleges have remedial reading courses for uni students who can't read. The schools just push the kids through and give them high grades...the Unis accept them at their word. San Fran solved their "how do you mark with covid" problem by giving every single student an A.

@supertenor561 well, yeah, teachers 've been sitting at home in their jammies for almost 2 years, while collecting full pay, while parents struggle to feed their families and get child care. That will reduce respect for anyone rather quickly.
