  1. in Canada, we have standardized Math and English tests for Grades 3 and 6. The students were adequate on English, but most did miserably on the Grade 6 Math tests, and some did poorly on the Grade 3 ones. For fun, several school districts gave the Math tests to their Math teachers. Many of the Grade 6 teachers failed the Grade 6 Math test, some of them even failed the grade THREE Math test. Source of the problem discovered!!
