  2. @J A C C OTHER way round. MANY scientific facts and theories that were taken as gospel truth at the time, and would have been banned from social media, have been proven to be totally wrong. Earth going around the sun instead of vice versa, mercury and arsenic as effective meds, etc. More recently, an Aussie Dr had to work hard for 18 YEARS to convince the medical establishment that stomach ulcers are caused by bacteria and can be cured by a 6 wk course of a certain antibiotic, rather than being caused by stress. It's almost 30 yrs later, and psychiatrists are still fighting that one, because it affects their income. The problem is that no one in social media has a science or medical degree...they have no idea what they're censoring. They just do what the govt tells them. THAT's 1984.
