  2. OOPS! bad news Joe! Masks work for only about 20 mins....and that's for bacteria. Viruses are MUCH smaller....so the speed with which they penetrate masks is much quicker. We all had to do that experiment in college, in Bacteriology. Mask tests show "effectiveness" because the ppl involved are given a fresh mask, and then tested right away.....they have NO idea what happens after 10 mins or so. One of the reasons why ppl in masks are still getting infected.
