  1. Mayorkas was asked by the oversight committee twice for the number of Haitians in the USA, and could NOT give numbers either time. He claimed it was because he was working 18 hrs a day.

  2.  @CarlosRamirez-wb7zu  yup....i keep wondering when it will occur to American workers that there's no way they'll ever get a $15 an hour minimum wage with all the migrants that are flooding into the country. Over a million so far and most will need jobs....over 2 million estimated by the end of the year. It may hit them soon....the extra federal unemployment benefits ran out on Sept 4th.   3.  @CarlosRamirez-wb7zu  they want to do a LOT that's not going to happen. Suddenly there are a million more ppl in the country that will need jobs. No way will they be getting $15 an hour...nor will anyone else at minimum wage.

  7. umm...one study said that 95% of illegal immigrants do NOT pay any taxes....they're working for under -the-table wages.
