  1. i think Japan has the right idea. Not only are their students better academically, but the students are assigned to clean classrooms, hallways and take care of grounds. It keeps the kids from thinking that they're better than workers. Plus the teachers make a ton of money....more than most in the private sector. But it's the private sector that pays their wages through taxes.
