  2.  @VaniaAjah  Beagles cheat....there's a big Beagle and a little Beagle category so they get 2 kicks at the can, 16? inches and over, under 16 inches (i've forgotten the height.) GREAT illegal detection dogs in airports etc though, especially for agricultural products (that's because they eat everything) The top Beagle detection dog had the largest bounty ever ($500,000 in the 80's) put on his head by criminals.   3. junior veterinarians all over the country and in Canada burst into tears. Those flews (overhanging upper lips) and wrinkles on his face are prime sites for skin infections. On the other hand the vets who OWN the practices and collect the fees cheered all the way to the bank. The English Setter was robbed...it was a BEAUTY!! (AND NO defects for vets to have to treat)

  4.  @rosehelmich2979  veterinarians everywhere burst into tears....he has HUGE flews (upper lips) The breeders say it's to catch scent. The vets who have to treat the dogs say they're for skin sores and drooling. It's not unusual in the show world.....the 1977 Grand Champion Manx cat could not urinate or defecate by itself. When the males win, you end up with hundreds of pups with the same defect, as well. SIGH!! (that's why Rough coated Collies....Lassie dogs.....ALL have Collie eye syndrome now...the breeders bred for smaller eyes because they look cool. If you're lucky, your Collie has Grade one...it's vision is affected only a little. If unlucky, Grade 4...the dog goes blind. For many yrs there were NO Collies with normal eyes that could see well.) All the best to you!! ps i'm a small animal veterinarian....all i could see were those big flews (overhanging lips) and wrinkles on the bloodhound's face. Somewhere some vet is going to make a fortune off this dog (wrinkles and flews often lead to skin sores from the trapped moisture.) Not the first time vets have cried when they've seen the winning animals either. All the best to you!!
