@KungPowEnterFist You forgot to mention that lot sizes 2 or 3 times smaller now as they were in the 1960s. This debunks all your calculations.

@KungPowEnterFist Don't be ridiculous. The home prices for most of the places are defined by the price of land. An old 1960s built house doesn't have a price of 2 or 3 multiple of an average household income. This house might be 20% cheaper than the new one on the same lot size, but this doesn't make it close to 2 average household incomes.
