I feel so right and vindicated after decades of NEVER wanting kids. At 51 years old, I'm enjoying early retirement and enjoying life like I've imagined now.

Since graduating high school in '88, I've never wanted kids. I like my money.

@sccanj Not as dumb as your response.

Never wanted to be married. If I were poor maybe, but staying single with no kids is a great way to have money for yourself.

@arabicmusiclady1428 I definitely count you in. You are exactly the type of women I enjoy hanging with. Your time is your time, not like a single mother who will only have time for you if you can provide for her AND her little wallet anchors.

There is no greater love of my life than my freedom to NEVER have married when a woman wanted to. Besides, like the saying goes, why sign a government contract with a woman when she benefits greatly & financially from breaking said contract.

@marketmayhem2726 and to each their own. My life is very fulfilling traveling, with friends, hobbies and security of my assets. Granted you can lose it all at anytime but imagine losing it with kids and a family to support.

How funny is that I now treat my new car(s) like they're ready for the junkyard but I take care of my older, "vintage" cars to last longer because they are just more enjoyable for driving. Granted newer cars are just as enjoyable but the touch screen takes a lot of joy out of it when you have to keep looking at it for basic functions like rear defogger, thermostat control or even on some cars, cruise control. To each their own I suppose.

Since that mother doesn't have a ring on her finger anymore, what are the odds she got that house in the divorce by effing over the husband/father who built said house, OR maybe he passed. They don't say. But as a friend of mine who she use to work for the IRS always told me, "80% of the women in this country earn less than 40K a year. The majority of them have much more just because of 4 things, alimony, child support, inheritance or court settlements. But to each their own.

To each their own.

@jesterzubrata My brothers will be more than happy to take it. LOL

@israel7valdiviez17 ha ha ha , talk about sloppy seconds!! LOL

It's funny to see that strip mall at the :53 second mark being talked about as a strip mall, since that area has been around for decades in Yonkers NY on Central Ave.

Pickleball? I thought I was playing wiffle tennis when I was younger in the 80's.

@israel7valdiviez17 I guess that's how they get their revenge when they become millonaires/billionaires, they almost get any young woman they want. LOL

@tastybrownie7448 Not at all. I'm gen X and right now there are more millennials & gen z so not worried at all. And besides, they'll always be immigrants getting in this country. Unfortunately kids today (unless you're very well off)are a burden & not a blessing. Also men today are starting to realize there is no benefits on dating a single mother & the government is not happy that they have to support these welfare, section 8, WIC moms. But once again, just my thoughts.

@oldskoolmusicnostalgia You're right, people always judge. But I've noticed it's just about always men who are bitter about being in a crappy marriage or they've been hosed in the divorce courts. Or even they are so broke because they keep thinking having kids is what they're suppose to do in life. And even to my surprise, I'm not a minority. Just under 40% of the men in this country don't have kids according the U.S. Census bureau.

Was wondering how she got that house since I didn't see a ring on her finger. Or the dad passed. But they never talked about him except when they talked about how he had that house built.
2
She seems jealous of her sister AND niece. They drive Mercedes and such while she drives a beat down, old Dodge with a cracked bumper.
2
I'm glad someone else was thinking that. And subtle BS about women making less with that already debunked .82cents on the dollar crap. In the end, just cnbc trying to hide the fact that there is NO benefit for a man to marry today with their "it's bad for both" stories.

Love me some Ken Titus life advice back in the day.
2
Well, 100% of all divorces are caused by marriage. 😄

Same at the 7:22 mark. Been there for decades, at least since high school in the 80's. There's even another one right BEHIND it.
