I feel so right and vindicated after decades of NEVER wanting kids. At 51 years old, I'm enjoying early retirement and enjoying life like I've imagined now.

@arabicmusiclady1428 I definitely count you in. You are exactly the type of women I enjoy hanging with. Your time is your time, not like a single mother who will only have time for you if you can provide for her AND her little wallet anchors.

@marketmayhem2726 and to each their own. My life is very fulfilling traveling, with friends, hobbies and security of my assets. Granted you can lose it all at anytime but imagine losing it with kids and a family to support.

@oldskoolmusicnostalgia You're right, people always judge. But I've noticed it's just about always men who are bitter about being in a crappy marriage or they've been hosed in the divorce courts. Or even they are so broke because they keep thinking having kids is what they're suppose to do in life. And even to my surprise, I'm not a minority. Just under 40% of the men in this country don't have kids according the U.S. Census bureau.
