  2. ​ @hevdread The GOP did not take away the child tax credit. The child tax credit was taken away in 2022. Senator Manchin voted against extending the credit. The GOP controlled House passed a bill for the child tax credit this year, it's sitting in the Democratic controlled Senate! The child tax credit was doubled because of Trump's tax cuts.
