@scottfarner5100 Why are you going on about Title 42 ? It is no longer in effect. Trump's 2017 total was 526,90 which was lower than Obama's last year 2016 530,250. Trump's highest monthly total was 144,000 in May of 2019. Biden has blown by every record ever recorded! I remember when you said the high numbers of illegal immigrants were because of Title 42. What happened? December set an all time high at over 300,000.

@brentwickwire98 Biden's asylum rules violate Immigration Nationality Act 8 USC S 1101. The Homeland Security Act and The Secure Fence Act. Biden is also abusing the parole program by releasing illegal immigrants in mass. 800,000 in 2023. Previous presidents have only used the parole program for about 5,000 per year.

@brentwickwire98 Yes, it's a mess. Biden could stop the flow of illegal immigrants now! Our immigration laws worked for previous presidents. This new package has some good things. However, the 5,000 illegal immigrants per day is a deal breaker! That's 1.8 million per year !

@scottfarner5100 My numbers are also from USCBP. Mine are older, yours must be updated. However, when comparing the numbers they are not much different. Trump did change a number of policies regarding the border and immigration in 2017, so 2017 was not just Obama's policies. These numbers still do not change the fact that Biden's numbers have set records at the border. The yearly report from ICE (2022) highlights border policies and problems. Arrests of undocumented immigrants fell to 74,000, the lowest amount since 2015. 2020 - 100,000, 2019 - 140,000. ICE deportations were 59,000 the lowest since 2008. This was also part of an article by Axios March 11, 2022 ICE Arrests and Deportations fall under Biden. The Biden administration has failed to enforce current immigration laws, which have resulted in the current border crisis.
