Yes, there were people who committed crimes and should be punished. The problem I have is people who were let in by police and are being treated the same as those who were violent just because they were at the Capitol. Being charged as a terrorist just because you were there isn't right. Also the proceedings of that day were merely a formality. The vote count was already certified on December 15.

@richardcuttler7734 LOL The committee had seven members of the Democratic party! Only two members were Republicans. The democrats had control of the House. Nancy Pelosi was in charge of picking committee members. The Chairperson was Bennie Thompson a Democrat. I suggest you do some research!
