@cattreeoflife980 I agree ! No Child Left Behind was a garbage policy. I believe there should be school choice. The Biden administration does not support because they are in bed with the Teachers Unions.

Republicans didn't take control of Congress until the 90's. Democrats controlled the southern states legislatures and governorships into the 90's. LBJ was one of the biggest racists. He only got The Civil Rights Act passed because of Republicans support.

While it is true that democrat voters voted for Republican Presidential candidates, those same constituents voted overwhelmingly for the Democrat Party for their legislatures, governor, and Congressional appointments. Historical voting data provides factual evidence. Examples: Georgia was democrat controlled from 1872-2003 Mississippi 1882-1992 Louisiana 1887-1980 Alabama from 1874-1987 The Republican Party didn't take control of the House until the 90's. The Civil Rights Act was passed with Republicans support in the House and Senate.
