 @Mephitinae Robbie explains the meaning of the flag in the video! The flag originated at the time of the Revolutionary War. It was a message to the British. It has nothing to do with racism!

@anthonywolverton9833 It doesn't matter who "adopted" the flag at a later date in time. Those who used that flag in an offensive or nefarious way were ignorant. It's no different than those who choose or chose to use the American Flag in a disrespectful way. It shouldn't take away from its original meaning or purpose.

@D4L_457 Follow what rules? Those rules that are arbitrarily made up by a teacher or school. We do have laws that should be followed. However, those "rules" made up by a teacher or school are not laws.

@D4L_457 LOL deflection to Trump! I do have rules in my house. There are rules at school. However, the Supreme Court has ruled that school children's Constitutional rights do not cease to exist just because they walk through the door of a school.

@anthonywolverton9833 I will agree to disagree. If we as a country cave in to the small number of people who choose to use our American symbols as their symbols of hatred, then the great American experiment is done. I'm sure there are a few bad actors that would rejoice if that were to happen.
