Insurrection? None of the people arrested were charged with Insurrection. If Pelosi wanted to get all of the facts surrounding January 6th why wouldn't she accept all 5 republican members? Is she afraid of the information they have or might find?

@lesterdwaynejones1545 Yes, McCarthy said that, many republican members said similar things. However, in my opinion they made those comments as reactionary statements. Those statements were also made before any factual evidence was gathered. What we all saw was a horrible event, but all of the evidence needs to be gathered. Not just the evidence that benefits one political party. Let the chips fall where they fall.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 The fact that you don't think democrats held up Trump's nominees is laughable. Both parties do the same things. What exactly is in those Bills either SB202 or the Texas Bill that is voter suppression? The riot at the Capitol was not an Insurrection. The government was not overthrown. Secondly, the republican party as a whole is not complicit or responsible. Those people who committed those crimes are responsible.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 "They've sold us out for power." Exactly what power do they hold? Republicans are not the majority party right now. I don't know if they have evidence to support their position. Do you have any evidence that doesn't support what they've said? I think that's what we're all trying to find out. We e need all the evidence, not just the evidence you want to hear.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 The President and SoD are not responsible for security at the Capitol. Congressional committees of both the House and Senate are responsible.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 The Constitution gives the states the power to control elections. The state legislature is the only governing body that has the power to change election rules. In 2020 several states had local election officials change the rules for elections. This is why state legislatures have felt the need to shore up their states election laws. It had nothing to do with suppressing anyone's right to vote. Again, you have failed to answer my questions. What laws in either SB202 or the Texas Bill suppress anyone's right to vote? You are right there are more pressing issues in this country, so why are the democrats trying so hard to gain support for HB1? That is a direct violation of the Constitution.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 You obviously haven't read SB202. There is nothing in that law that is an abuse of power or that would let republicans stay in office. You are just parroting misinformation that you've heard. Maybe you should read the actual Bill. The New York Times put the Bill on their website.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 LOL I didn't say anything about the people protesting the Bill. However, I did ask you what law in the Bill suppresses anyone's right to vote? It is irrelevant what the protester's say about the Bill. That is second hand information at best. Read the Bill for yourself and find the law that suppresses or restricts the right of someone to cast their ballot. You are the one who is a KAREN because you cannot back up your claims with factual evidence.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 LOL you don't even know me, so calling me a "Karen" is just your way of deflecting because you don't know the answers to my questions. All you have is your pathetic claims.

@lesterdwaynejones1545 LOL I am certainly not the one who is delusional. All you have is your opinion and your assumptions about me. You know what they say about assumptions.....

@lesterdwaynejones1545 That's all on you. I'm not the one making assumptions.
