@hrs2044 I agree! I am a retired teacher. Teacher's unions are for the most part horrible. They want more money for union dues, but teachers are one of the lowest payed professions across America. I definitely didn't pick the teaching profession for the money.

I will agree with everything but the salary part. At least from my experience. When I left my teaching job due to a disability my salary was $36,000 a year. However, I will agree that the area where I live is one of the worst for the teaching profession.
