  16.  @cennon  OK let's start with NAFTA. True more republicans voted for it than democrats but 34 to 27 is hardly a huge difference. Bill Clinton signed NAFTA into law. Joe Biden voted for NAFTA. The democrats had control over the Congress so if they thought it was so bad then they wouldn't have brought the bill up for a vote. I will agree that NAFTA was a disaster but your failure to admit that it was democrats failure too is laughable and not being truthful. After all Bill Clinton could have vetoed the bill. Ross Perot an Independent called it right from the beginning he was against NAFTA. USMCA- all but 10 Senator's voted for USMCA. It passed the democrat controlled House 385 - 41. If it was bad Nancy Pelosi would never have brought it up for a vote. USMCA is also endorsed by the AFL-CIO. I will agree McConnell hasn't brought the anti-corruption bill up for a vote. Maybe someday the residents of Kentucky will vote him out. However, you still refuse to acknowledge that there is corruption in the democratic party too. Joe Biden has had his own problems throughout his 40 plus year career. He has taken huge donations from credit card companies and made it harder for people to get financial help (bankruptcy etc.) with credit card companies. The media refuses to talk about Biden's family and all the money they have received or made from huge corporations and foreign governments. The Clinton's have had their own problems with corruption and shady deals. Ilan Omar was forced to pay fines for campaign finance violations. So again your failure to acknowledge that the democratic party has its own problems and issues with corruption just proves you are partisan and biased. You only want to talk about GOP corruption but fail to understand that it's both parties.

  20.  @cennon  Perhaps you should do some research on Citizens United and on past actions regarding campaign financial reform. 1. 1907 The Tillman Act- the first legislation prohibiting monetary donations to campaigns. Enacted by a republican Congress and President. 2. 1947 Taft Hartley Act- restricted labor unions and corporations and requires disclosure of financial and political activities. Enacted by a republican Congress but vetoed by a democrat President. 3. 1971 Federal Election Campaign Act- regulated political campaign funding and spending. Enacted by a democrat Congress and a republican president. 4. 2002 Campaign Reform Act- prohibited political parries and candidates from soliciting soft money. Banned corporations and unions from using their money to finance broadcast ads. Sponsored by a republican and a democrat. This above act was the beginning of Citizens United. So there you can see that republicans have done a fair amount to stop corruption. They are not "rotten to the core" as you have said. They have done work for the people and tried to keep government honest. However, when I posted that article yesterday you defended the democrats for using dark money. They are not just using it in the primary campaign. Your defense of them means that you are ok with democrats using dark money just not republicans using dark money. Which makes you a hypocrite! Corruption is corruption no matter who is doing it. Do yourself a favor by doing some historical research before you condem the whole republican party as rotten, unpatriotic, and not for the people.
