 @bcbeasters LOL funding hasn't been cut. There have been continuing resolutions to avoid a government shutdown. The government funding has stayed at the same 6 trillion dollars.

@soniastjules FEMA is in the big cities like Ashville. Chimney Rock is a small community just like others up in the mountains. They are completely cut off. No FEMA up there, it's the local people and private parties, churches etc. that are doing the work.

@bcbeasters The Republican controlled House is only one chamber of Congress. The House has had approbation bills to cut some funds because Biden's budgets have all been 6 trillion dollars. The Democratic controlled Senate has not taken up any of those bills. A continuing resolution has been passed keeping funding levels the same.

@martymartin1632 LOL Trump didn't spend 8 trillion in his first weeks of office. You are so misinformed. 7.7 trillion was spent in 4 years and 3.5 trillion was bipartisan Covid relief. Biden's budgets have all been over 6 trillion each year with deficit spending at record levels. I suggest you do some research.

Biden has had yearly budgets of 6 trillion dollars. Biden's deficits have all been 1-2 trillion dollars each year. Perhaps you should do some research.
