@andyr9654 There was a plan in place that was working. At the very least she could have compassion and go to the border to see the mess they've created.

@andyr9654 Going to Guatemala, Honduras, etc. to see what is happening there firsthand is acceptable. However, it should be part of a plan. Going to the border should be part of that plan. If you don't go see firsthand what's happening how would you even attempt to fix the problem. Kamala Harris criticized Trump's handling of the border, but the situation is worse now. Trump's way may not have been perfect, but at least immigration laws were followed. I have lived in a town close to the border. It's been a problem for a long time. At least Trump went to the border and talked to the Border Patrol and Customs officials. He asked what the government could do to help them and then took action. This current crisis has been going on for 4 months and yes, they've set up more facilities for the incoming migrants but at some point the flood of migrants has to be controlled.
