  9.  @scottfarner5100  I have no idea why my comments are being censored. My main point was that Title 42 did not suspend Title 8 laws. Title 8 was used more than Title 42 in 2022.

  10.  @scottfarner5100  I agree that Title 42 isn't an immigration law. However, it wasn't being used as much as Title 8. In 2022 Title 42 was only being used for 30% of expulsions. Title 8 was used for 70% of illegal immigration.

  11.  @scottfarner5100  We didn't have a 17 year decline in border crossings. The decline started in 2009. The lowest amount prior to Trump was in 2015. However, crossings were lower in 2017. Also the 2019 surge was not a 20 year high. There were over 1 million in 2008.

You are correct that 2000 was a record high until Biden's policies in 2021 and 2022 2004 - 2006 were all over 1.2 million that's why I started the decline at 2009. That is the first year below 1 million. Both republicans and democrats are dishonest when it comes to the border and immigration. Neither side tells the complete truth. The right isn't doing anything more or less than the left when it comes to undermining border security. They are both using it as a political talking point.
