  3.  @jeffthompson1869  True DC isn't a state. However, they have proclaimed to be a sanctuary city. I guess Mayor Bowser needs to ask Congress for additional funds. You obviously don't understand how the border works. The border is on federally controlled, or it's supposed to be. Governor Abbott can only build a wall on private land with owners permission. Abbott cannot build any wall on federal land. Your point is moot saying that republicans don't want to fund a border wall. The Secure Fence Act was passed in 2006 under Republican President Bush.
