@voixdelaraison593 You are being disingenuous. The tax break was for everyone, not just the 1%. Yes, the top 1% benefited more because they make more money. Please provide your source that Trump paid only 720 dollars in taxes for 10 years. I read the New York Times article and that's not what it said. That same New York Times article states that Trump's biggest tax refund came when President Obama was in office. Instead of being mad at Trump, you should be mad at the politicians in Congress that create those tax loopholes. All of the millionaire and billionaire politicians benefit from those tax loopholes no matter their political affiliation.

@voixdelaraison593 I woul also look at Pelosi and Schumer as well. The BBB Bill has a nice tax break for the rich. The SALT tax is a nice little perk for themselves.

@voixdelaraison593 I agree the debate or discussion should be about policies, not ideology. I think we as Americans would be much better off if we stuck to a healthy debate rather than name calling and assumptions about a particular political party.

@jeannemarieashman7254 Trump took advantage of the system that is in place. Tax loopholes should be closed and tax laws rewritten so that no one can game the system. The problem is our politicians on both sides take advantage of the very tax laws that they've put in place. Also, I never said Trump was being investigated because he was President. I realize he was inflating or deflating real-estate values. However, I'm not naive enough to think he's the only one gaming the system. I will agree no one is above the law. However, I'm realistic and know if you're rich you can get out of trouble.
