@shelaghhandley8710 The decision to pull troops out was made in February of 2020. Well in advance of the election. Biden has also said many times in the past that he wanted the troops out of Afghanistan. How Biden pulled the troops out is the dispute. There were 3,500 troops in Afghanistan when Biden took office. We still controlled Bagram Air Base. Why on earth would you pull troops in the middle of the night without getting American citizens and Afghan contractors out first? This exit was a disaster from that very moment and it had nothing to do with Trump.
