  2. In some ways I agree that maybe the age should be raised to 21. However, should we then raise the age to join the military to 21? Are we saying at 18 you can you can fight and die for this country, but you cannot purchase a rifle?

  3. Exactly! For one thing there is no such thing as an assault rifle. AR stands for Armalite Rifle.
